Super Maria

Watching the daily updates at the Super Smash Bros Brawl website creates some ideas in my head. Here is my design for Super Maria, an obvious female version of the classic character Mario himself. Rather than the idea that he became female, Maria is as if the game was made with a female lead rather than him. As many of you would realize, Super Mario Bros was influenced by Alice in Wonderland so I gave Maria a dress and long striped socks. A bit of an Alice influence there itself. Of course she has a raccoon leaf power-up.
